What It’s About: What are our key national security challenges? Can we address them all simultaneously? Do we have the leadership? Do we have the financial resources?

Presenter: Brian T. Kennedy is President of the American Strategy Group, a think tank dedicated to understanding the strategic threats to the United States. Mr. Kennedy is also a board member and senior fellow of the Claremont Institute where he served as president from 2002 to 2015. During his 25-year tenure at the Claremont Institute, he directed their Golden State Center in Sacramento, their National Security Project, and served as publisher of the Claremont Review of Books. Mr. Kennedy is the chairman of the Committee on the Present Danger: China, founded in March 2019. He is also a member of the Independent Working Group on Missile Defense. Mr. Kennedy is the author of Communist China’s War Inside America by Encounter Books (June 2020) and co-author of The CCP is at War with America: A Team B Report on the COVID-19 Biological Warfare Attack (July 2022). His essays on national security affairs and public policy issues have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Federalist, The American Mind, and Hillsdale College’s Imprimis. He is a regular on The Bill Bennett Show Podcast and Steve Bannon’s War Room. Mr. Kennedy is a native Californian and a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.
