What It’s About:  Why is Canada so mismanaged? Why Canada poses an existential risk to us!

Presenter: Benjamin J. Dichter is an author and journalist with The National Telegraph and the author of Honking For Freedom: The Trucker Convoy That Gave Us Hope. Recognized for his multifaceted career and influential presence in Canadian politics and media, Dichter is a trucking industry owner-operator and podcaster based in Toronto, Canada. He first entered the political spotlight as a conservative activist, opposing political entryism by Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups within Canada’s Conservative Parties. Dichter later became a leader in the 2022 Canadian convoy protest, championing free speech and individual rights. Previously, he ran as a candidate for the Federal Conservative Party of Canada and co-founded LGB Tory, a libertarian group representing conservative LGBTQ voices opposed to communist and Islamist influences within that community. His diverse background also communist and Islamist influences within that community. His diverse background also includes experience as a gemologist and a decade as the owner of a graphic arts business on one of Canada’s major university campuses, reflecting his commitment to independent thinking and entrepreneurship. In media, Dichter has made his mark through a range of podcasts covering critical topics such as philosophy, law, crime, terrorism, and health. He created The Quiggin Report, hosted by a retired military intelligence analyst and expert on Islamic terrorism, which focuses on counter-terrorism and global security issues. Other notable podcasts include Open College with Dr. Stephen Hicks, author of Explaining Postmodernism, which explores philosophy, history, politics, and the impact of postmodern philosophy, and Not On Record, where renowned criminal defense lawyer Joseph Neuberger and former men’s rights activist turned legal researcher Diana Davison examine false allegations and criminal defense cases with expert insights. Through these podcasts and his writing, Dichter brings a nuanced, fact-based perspective to complex issues, attracting audiences seeking informed analysis. Beyond journalism and podcasting, Benjamin Dichter is a vocal advocate for financial independence, particularly through Bitcoin. His experience during the Canadian Trucker Convoy protest—when his bank accounts, credit cards, and assets were seized by Canadian and provincial governments—underscored the importance of financial freedom beyond traditional banking systems. A frequent speaker at Bitcoin conferences, he shares insights on monetary sovereignty and urges individuals to explore financial alternatives in an evolving global landscape. His articles have appeared in publications like The Daily Bell and Zero Hedge, establishing him as a significant voice in media, politics, and financial independence.
